I have recently been tasked with learning a couple of songs to play at my brother-in laws birthday. It has been nearly 25 years since I played with any other musicians and I have never played in front of people so this will be quite a big challenge but I am really looking forward to getting out there and jamming. With the challenge laid down, it only makes sense that I purchase some new gear.
I have been a fan of multi effects units for a long time as it suits my style of playing (playing cover songs at home to backing tracks). I have used the Line 6 Pod’s before and while they are great, I wanted to try something a little bit different. Enter the Headrush Gigboard.
On first impressions, it is looks pretty awesome and the 7 inch touch screen makes editing really easy. I have spent the last few days getting acquainted with it I am quite happy with the purchase. I have been fiddling around with “rigs” and have come up with a few which I think sound pretty decent and over time, I will share these “rigs” over time as I get my head around how it all works..
